The three plans

Here is what each plan is designed for, summarised from the published Trades.Agency plan descriptions in our own words.

Plan Month-to-month Annual billing What it's for, in brief
Growth $1,999/month $1,499/month The core marketing an established Kitchener trade needs to keep its phone busy
Elite $3,999/month $2,999/month Several channels running at once; Trades.Agency website packages at half price
Enterprise $7,999/month $5,999/month Its own dedicated team, priority support, and a website designed and built at no extra charge

Nothing here ties you down for years: every plan rolls month to month, a cancellation needs 30 days' notice, and only owners who choose annual billing get the lower rate in exchange for that commitment. Full details are on the Trades.Agency pricing page.

Which plan fits a Kitchener home-service business

Most owners can tell from three facts: how many crews you run, how many services you sell, and whether your website needs rebuilding.

  • Growth suits a one-to-three-truck business that wants to win the map results in its nearest communities and keep a tidy website working. Typically this covers the map-pack work plus light website improvements, or a small search-ads program.
  • Elite suits a company with several services or several crews that needs more than one channel at once, for example map-pack work plus search ads plus an older-home or new-subdivision campaign. The website discount helps if your site is due for a rebuild.
  • Enterprise suits a larger operation that wants a dedicated team, faster turnaround, and a new website included.

If you're unsure, start lower. A Kitchener owner with two vans and a decent reputation rarely needs Enterprise in year one, and an honest strategist will say so. Moving up a plan is easy when the numbers justify it; paying for capacity you can't use is waste.

What drives the total cost

Your total monthly marketing cost is the plan fee plus whatever you spend on ads. A worked example helps.

Say a Kitchener plumbing company is on Growth, paying monthly, and also runs a modest ads budget of $1,500 a month. The monthly total is $1,999 plus 13% HST on the fee (about $260), plus $1,500 in ad spend: roughly $3,760. If its average job is $700 and the marketing produces 15 extra booked jobs a month, that's about $10,500 in revenue. Whether that's worth it depends on margin, which is why we work out your break-even figure first. Our lead-cost guide shows the full sum.

The things that push cost up are:

  • Competition for your services in your chosen communities, which raises ad click prices.
  • Number of services and areas you want covered at once.
  • Website condition: a rebuild is a larger first-month task than a tidy-up.
  • Your capacity: there is no point paying to generate calls your crews can't answer.
  • Seasonality: a landscaper's spring and a furnace company's January both justify heavier ad spend for a few weeks, and lighter spend the rest of the year.

What you get for free, and what you keep

Before any plan, an eligible trades business can have a first half-hour with us at no charge. We'll look at your listing, website and numbers, and tell you honestly whether paid marketing makes sense yet.

Whatever plan you choose, you keep ownership of your domain, website, Google Business Profile and ad accounts. If you leave, nothing is held back. There's no lock-in.

How to start

Call, text or email with your trade, the parts of Kitchener you serve and your rough monthly budget. You can also read the FAQ for the questions owners ask most before signing up.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a contract?

No long-term contract. Every plan renews monthly, and a month's notice (30 days) ends it. Annual billing is optional and lowers the monthly price.

Does the plan price include ad spend?

No. Ad spend is paid directly to Google or the relevant platform, on your account. Our plan fee covers the planning, management and reporting.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. Eligible trades businesses get a free 30-minute initial consultation, separate from the paid plans, with no obligation to sign up.

Do prices include HST?

No. All figures are Canadian dollars before tax; a Kitchener business pays 13% Ontario HST on top of the plan fee.

Which plan includes a website?

Enterprise includes a free website design and build in any package. Elite includes 50% off Trades.Agency website design packages. On Growth, website work is quoted separately.
